Catch and Release of Trout over 20" is a best practice that I personally believe in. It's been proven that a 20" female Specked Trout can produce up to 20 Million Eggs during the spawn. Big trout are rare so let them go to pass on those great genetics so we all can enjoy them over and over again. In the last 40 years the limit has gone from 20 to 3 fish in parts of Texas.
